Job summary

Advanced Systems Design is seeking a SQA Tester (Automation) for a work-from-home opportunity supporting the CARMA Enhancements team within the Department of Veterans Affairs. You will develop and execute test strategies across full SDLC, driving quality and release readiness while leveraging Provar and Selenium for automated testing in Salesforce environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software quality assurance or testing experience.
• Experience creating test cases and executing functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with defect tracking, test evidence, requirements traceability, and Agile delivery.
• Experience with test automation frameworks/tools (e.g., Selenium and Provar).
• Ability to build efficient, robust automated test cases in Provar and maintain tests across sandboxes/environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test strategies, plans, cases, scripts, and traceability for functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Validate requirements and acceptance criteria across supported applications, interfaces, data, roles, and workflows.
• Record, triage, retest, and close defects with clear evidence, severity, impact, and reproducible steps.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, product owners, and stakeholders to improve quality throughout the SDLC.
• Report test progress, risks, coverage, and release readiness using objective evidence.
