Job summary

Humana is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain UI and API test automation frameworks. The role requires building automated tests integrated into CI/CD pipelines and collaborating with software engineers, product owners, and QA teams to improve release quality in a fast-paced SAFe Agile environment.

Ideal candidates have strong automation experience with Java, Python, or JavaScript, and hands-on use of Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in automation.
• 4+ years of automation-related technical experience.
• Strong knowledge of Claude code.
• Experience with AI coding assistants (Claude, GitHub Copilot, etc.).
• Experience with Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• 2+ years in Software QA testing in SAFe Agile.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain UI and API test automation frameworks.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and QA to improve release quality in a SAFe agile environment.
• Utilize Claude Code and other AI tools to enhance automation productivity.
• Analyze test results and drive defect resolution.
• Create reusable automation patterns and best practices.
