Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, program, simulate and test automated processes for our QA infra. This remote nationwide role involves integrating UI/API tests into CI/CD, collaborating with engineers and product teams, and leveraging Claude Code for productivity.

Occasional travel to Humana offices may be required. The position requires 4+ years in automation, strong Claude Code skills, and experience with Selenium/Playwright/Cypress, REST APIs, and SAFe Agile

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4+ years automation experience.
• Strong knowledge of Claude code and AI coding assistants.
• Experience with Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
• Hands-on with Selenium, Playwright or Cypress and REST API testing.
• Experience in SAFe Agile software QA and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain UI and API test automation frameworks.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and QA teams.
• Utilize Claude Code to enhance automation productivity.
• Analyze test results and drive defect resolution.
