Job summary

Rectangle Health is seeking a QA Engineer to own automated UI and API testing, ensuring robust test frameworks and reliable product releases. You will work across engineering to maintain high quality in a fast-paced environment, leveraging Playwright and API automation.

The role emphasizes proactive ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning. Ideally 2–4 years in QA with automation focus, experience in CI/CD and GitHub Actions, and familiarity with AI coding assistants to accelerate test

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in QA engineering with a focus on automation.
• Proficiency in automated UI testing frameworks, preferably Playwright with JS/TypeScript.
• Strong hands‑on experience with API automation.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions).
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Experience with AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude) for test development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API testing across coverage.
• Contribute to test planning and continuous QA process improvement.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure test coverage.
• Clarify requirements with product/engineering when ticket details are incomplete.
• Execute and analyze automated test results and report defects with documentation.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Own test coverage and automation workflows documentation.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies and advocate for quality across the lifecycle.
