Job summary
Caterpillar is seeking a results-driven electrical engineering professional to support automation and control solutions for generator systems within the Electric Power Division. You will execute retrofit and new system projects from concept to commissioning, collaborating with dealers, factories, and cross-functional teams.
The role emphasizes PLC/HMI development, legacy PLC modernization, and hardware-in-the-loop validation, with travel and remote work requirements.

Responsibilities
- Identify retrofit opportunities and define project scope.
- Execute design, programming, testing, and commissioning of PLC/HMI systems.
- Convert legacy PLC programs and validate performance.
- Develop and modify PLC and HMI applications using templates.
- Collaborate with CAD designers for wiring and drawings.
- Provide technical support to sales and product teams.
- Submit project documentation, reports, and expenses on time.
- Train technicians, customers, and internal teams on maintenance and operation.
