SSI SCHAEFER Group is seeking an Automation Applications Engineer to support sales and engineering by designing customized intralogistics and warehouse automation solutions. You will translate customer needs into scalable automation concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 2+ years in warehouse automation, proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office, and travel up to 20% (including international).

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in warehouse automation, material handling, or intralogistics.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD (or similar CAD software) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel 10-20% (including occasional international travel).

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop warehouse automation and intralogistics solutions by analyzing customer requirements and creating material flow diagrams, process flow charts, and system layouts using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• Prepare technical proposals, equipment and service cost estimates, system requirements, and scope of supply documentation to support solution development and sales efforts.
• Apply knowledge of distribution operations, material handling systems, and automation technologies to create efficient, scalable solutions that improve warehouse performance.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions while upholding company values of professionalism, reliability, respect, and teamwork.
