Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a Software Testing Principal (MUMPS) to lead testing efforts for mission-critical healthcare applications in a remote, U.S.-based role. You will develop test plans, oversee QA activities, and ensure data integrity across legacy systems such as VistA/FileMan.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in software testing, strong experience with MUMPS/InterSystems Cache, HL7/FHIR/EDI transactions, and a track record of mentoring junior testers. Must be a U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, government, or regulated environments.
• Experience testing enterprise healthcare apps and legacy systems.
• Proven ability to develop detailed test plans, scenarios, scripts and cases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and cases for MUMPS/Cache healthcare apps.
• Validate software changes, releases, and upgrades against requirements.
• Coordinate testing activities across functional, integration, regression and UAT.
• Verify data integrity and test HL7, FHIR, and EDI transactions.
