Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC seeks a Software Testing Principal with MUMPS expertise to lead testing efforts for mission-critical healthcare applications in a remote, U.S.-based role.

The position requires deep knowledge of MUMPS/InterSystems Cache, HL7/FHIR interoperability, test planning, UAT, automation, and producing metrics. You will guide QA strategy for VistA/FileMan environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a federal healthcare context.

Qualifications

10+ years in software testing/QA or system validation.

Experience in healthcare or regulated environments.
Experience testing MUMPS/Cache apps.
Experience validating HL7/FHIR/EDI transactions.
Ability to develop comprehensive test plans and test data.

Responsibilities

Lead testing efforts for healthcare/MUMPS systems.
Develop and execute test plans, cases, scripts, and procedures.
Validate software enhancements and system upgrades.
Coordinate tests with stakeholders and track defects.
Ensure data integrity across legacy healthcare applications.
