Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) seeks an Automated Test Engineer to join a 100% U.S.-based remote team supporting Veterans Affairs projects. Key duties include creating test plans, writing scripts, executing tests, and reporting metrics to ensure defect-free IT systems.

Requires 10+ years in software testing, experience with CI/CD and test automation tools, and a Public Trust (MBI) clearance. U.S. citizenship is mandatory; this is a W2 full-time role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years overall software testing/QA experience.
• Experience with automated and manual testing across web/applications.
• Security testing practices knowledge.
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and procedures.
• Write tests and data for scenarios; conduct walkthroughs with stakeholders.
• Perform verification and report results; support issue resolution.
