Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in C#, Java, or Python.
• Proven track record on complex software projects with high-quality deliverables.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum and SDLC.
• Proficient at writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans.
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, QTP, LoadRunner).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions).
• Familiar with version control (Git, Subversion).
• Understanding of performance testing with JMeter or Gatling.
• Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Knowledge of SQL for validating data; testing APIs and services.
• Experience with various testing types: functional, regression, integration, system, usability, UAT.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and procedures to meet requirements.
• Develop test schedules and approaches for projects.
• Write test cases and scripts; identify test data.
• Lead and participate in test walkthroughs with project stakeholders.
• Perform and lead tests on software/IT systems to ensure defect-free operation.
• Verify work products using defined methods and environments.
• Document, communicate, and analyze test results to resolve issues.
• Create daily test metrics and reporting; provide status updates.
• Mentor junior testers and guide testing activities.
• Support DevOps practices and conduct reviews for continuous improvement.
