Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Representative, Auto | Property Damage, to analyze and process auto and general liability property damage claims. The role involves assessing damage, making payments, coding files, and maintaining client relations.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, state adapting licenses where required, and strong communication and analytical skills. Some travel may be required as part of the position.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; state adjusting licenses as required.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Ability to review and assess Property Damage estimates, total loss evaluations, and related expenses.
• Knowledge of total loss processing, salvage forms, and title requirements preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto and general liability property damage claims; assesses damage, makes payments, and codes files correctly.
• Maintains timelines to meet state contract deadlines and moves files toward resolution.
• Identifies subrogation opportunities; secures and disposes of salvage.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and broker when appropriate.
• Maintains professional client relations and supports quality programs.
• Performs coverage, liability, and damage analysis on claims.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Travels as required.
