Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Claims Representative, Auto | Property Damage, to analyze and process auto and general liability property damage claims. You’ll assess damage, authorize payments, and ensure accurate documentation across claim files.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and state adjusting licenses as required.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto and general liability property damage claims; assesses damage, makes payments, and ensures claim files are documented and coded correctly.
• Develops action plans to meet state deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identifies and pursues subrogation opportunities; secures and disposes of salvage.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and broker when appropriate.
• Maintains professional client relations and performs coverage, liability, and damage analysis.
• Travels as required.
