Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Representative, Auto | Property Damage to analyze and process auto and general liability property damage claims. The role requires evaluating damage, supporting subrogation, and maintaining accurate claim files. Strong communication and team collaboration are essential.

Full-time position with benefits package and opportunities for professional growth. Travel may be required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; state adjusting licenses as required.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Ability to review and assess Property Damage estimates and related expenses to negotiate first/third-party claims.
• Knowledge of total loss processing and salvage forms is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto and general liability property damage claims; assesses damage, makes payments, and ensures claim files are properly documented and coded.
• Develops and maintains action plans to meet state deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identifies and pursues subrogation opportunities; secures and disposes of salvage.
• Communicates claim action/processing with insured, client, and agent or broker when appropriate.
• Maintains professional client relations and performs coverage, liability, and damage analysis on claims.
• Travels as required and supports the organization's quality programs.
