Job summary

GLS is seeking an Area Sales Manager to act as a company ambassador to automotive dealers within the assigned market area. You will expand market share by signing new dealers, developing existing relationships, and increasing awareness and adoption of GLS lending programs.

Responsibilities include dealer visits, cold calls, and inquiries to build relationships and drive volume. Travel up to 75% and strong collaboration with management are required.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in auto finance.
• Three years’ experience in sales in the auto industry.
• Knowledge of the local market with established customer relationships.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to operate from a home office and travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Sign new dealers and develop existing relationships to grow market share.
• Increase awareness and adoption of GLS lending programs at dealerships.
• Build and expand territory by identifying and signing new dealerships.
• Conduct regular dealer visits, calls, and inbound inquiries to build relationships.
• Maintain high dealer satisfaction and retention; complete documentation to track goals.
