Job summary

Sedgwick in Los Angeles is seeking a Claims Representative, Auto | Property Damage, to analyze and process auto claims with low to mid complexity. You will assess damages, coordinate payments, and ensure proper documentation.

You will maintain professional client relations, meet state deadlines, pursue subrogation when appropriate, and support quality programs. Strong communication, analytical skills, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant licensing as required.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Ability to review Property Damage estimates and negotiate first/third party claims.
• Strong communication skills, including written and oral.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PC literacy.
• Analytical and interpretive skills; strong organizational ability.
• Ability to work in a team and meet service expectations.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto property damage and lower level injury claims; assesses damage, makes payments, and documents files.
• Develops and maintains action plans to meet state deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identifies and pursues subrogation opportunities; secures salvage.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and agent when appropriate.
• Maintains professional client relations.
• Performs coverage, liability, and damage analysis on all claims assignments.
• Supports the organization's quality program(s).
