Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Representative, Auto | Property Damage for a telecommuter role in the United States. This position analyzes and processes auto property damage and related claims, handling payments and documentation for each file.

You will work with insureds, clients, and agents, assess damage, pursue subrogation, and support the organization’s quality programs. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, with licenses as required, and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; state licenses as required for the position.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Ability to review and assess Property Damage estimates, total loss evaluations, and related expenses.
• Knowledge of total loss processing and state salvage forms.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
• PC literate and proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Analytical and interpretive skills; strong organizational ability.

Responsabilités

• Processes auto property damage and lower level injury claims; assesses damage, makes payments, and ensures claim files are properly documented and correctly coded based on the policy.
• Develops and maintains action plans to meet state deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identifies and pursues subrogation opportunities; secures and disposes of salvage.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and agent or broker when appropriate.
• Maintains professional client relations and supports the organization's quality programs.
• Performs coverage, liability, and damage analysis on all claims assignments.
