Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Claims Representative, Auto | Property Damage. You will analyze and process auto claims, assess damage, and ensure proper documentation and coding.

The role supports timely resolutions, subrogation opportunities, and quality program adherence. The position requires a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and knowledge of personal/commercial lines, with strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; state adjusting licenses as required.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Ability to review and assess Property Damage estimates and related expenses.
• Knowledge of total loss processing and salvage forms (preferred).
• Strong oral and written communication; presentation skills.
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Process auto property damage and lower level injury claims; assess damage, make payments, and code files per policy.
• Develop action plans to meet state contract deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identify and pursue subrogation opportunities; secure and dispose of salvage.
• Communicate claim actions with insured, client, and agent/broker.
• Maintain professional client relations and perform coverage, liability, and damage analysis.
• Support the organization’s quality programs and perform other duties as assigned.
