Job summary

Sedgwick in the United States is seeking a Claims Representative, Auto to analyze and process auto and general liability property damage claims. You’ll assess damage, authorize payments, and ensure files are thoroughly documented while upholding policy codes.

You'll develop action plans to meet deadlines, pursue subrogation opportunities, communicate with insured and agents, and support quality programs. Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Processes auto and general liability property damage claims; assesses damage and makes payments.
• Maintains claim files with proper documentation and coding.
• Develops action plans to meet state deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identifies subrogation opportunities and handles salvage.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and broker.
• Supports the organization's quality programs.
• Travels as required.
