Job summary

Travelers is seeking an Auto Claim Professional to inspect, estimate, negotiate, and evaluate auto damage claims. This remote role serves the Hunt Valley, MD area with possible travel for catastrophe response, under supervision.

It provides guidance to claim staff and requires knowledge of regulatory and company guidelines. Ideal candidates will have an associate or higher, auto appraisal experience, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• 1+ year auto appraisal experience preferred; experience with an insurance carrier is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, estimate and appraise auto damage claims.
• Negotiate settlements with customers and repair facilities.
• Collaborate with claim staff to manage the life cycle of auto damage claims.
• Maintain reserves and support catastrophe response as needed.
