Qualifications
- High School Degree or GED with at least one year auto appraisal experience.
- State appraiser licenses where applicable.
- Two years of auto appraisal experience preferred; insurance carrier experience helpful.
- Strong knowledge of auto terminology and construction.
- Proven negotiation and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, estimate, and evaluate auto physical damage claims.
- Negotiate settlements and advise on claim value.
- Prepare accurate vehicle damage appraisals and replacement values.
- Collaborate with claim professionals to resolve files efficiently.
- Review policy provisions and coverage for various 1st party auto claims.
- Maintain informed reserves for claims and expenses.
