Job summary

Travelers Insurance is seeking an Auto Claim Professional to inspect, estimate, negotiate and evaluate 1st and 3rd party auto physical damage claims. The role is 100% remote, may include travel, and requires knowledge of repair processes and claims systems.

High school diploma with auto appraisal experience is preferred. Primary responsibilities include determining claim value, preparing appraisals, negotiating settlements, and supporting subrogation and recovery efforts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with at least 1 year of auto appraisal experience.
• State appraiser and claim handling licenses if applicable.
• Strong knowledge of auto repair terminology and repair processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consistent service throughout the claim life cycle with clear communication and follow-through to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Review and evaluate vehicle damages and prepare accurate appraisals with actual cash and replacement values.
• Negotiate with customers and repair facilities to reach agreed settlements within authorities.
• Coordinate with claim professionals through the life of the claim and support recovery efforts.
• Assist in catastrophe response and deployment as required.
