Job summary

Caseware is seeking a Solution Author to join our Audit Solutions team. This full-time, remote position is open to candidates who live in and are eligible to work in the United States, with hours aligned to the Eastern Time Zone. You will design, develop, and maintain audit content and workflows, translating U.S.

auditing standards into scalable software solutions for Caseware’s cloud-based offerings. You will collaborate with product managers, architects, developers, and QA to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–6 years of external audit experience in a public accounting firm.
• Strong understanding of audit methodology and internal controls.
• Experience with U.S. accounting and auditing standards.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Experience with Caseware audit products.
• SOX/internal control testing experience.
• Experience with private and public company audits.
• Ability to translate standards into software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain audit content and workflows within Caseware's Audit portfolio.
• Translate U.S. auditing standards into practical software solutions.
• Develop audit programs, risk assessments, internal control documentation, and engagement templates.
• Design worksheets, forms, and automated workflows to improve engagement quality.
• Create logic-driven content and automation to support compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure high-quality delivery.
• Support QA, testing, and user acceptance activities.
• Maintain audit content to align with evolving standards.
