Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an enterprise-scale Solutions Architect to design end-to-end architectures and guide engineering teams through implementation. This role can be fully remote across the continental USA.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, and UX to translate business objectives into technical roadmaps, lead incident response, and maintain architecture documentation. Requires 8+ years in software and 3+ years in architecture.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in large-scale software development.
• 3+ years in solution architecture or technical leadership.
• Strong proficiency with Java and Spring ecosystems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Familiarity with AI assistant tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end solutions balancing functional and non-functional requirements.
• Lead architectural decisions across teams and establish standards.
• Develop roadmaps and deployment/rollback strategies.
• Define integration strategies across platforms and third-party systems.
• Establish engineering quality standards with reviews and tests.
• Maintain architectural documentation and mentor engineers.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and UX to map business goals to technical roadmaps.
• Lead production incident response and root-cause analysis.
