Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Audit Intern to support SOX and other audits across accounting, finance, operations and IT. This remote, part-time internship (20 hours per week) offers exposure to diverse audit projects and hands-on training with an emphasis on professional development.

You will learn auditing fundamentals, perform procedures, prepare working papers, and communicate findings to management as part of a high-performing Ryder Audit Services team.

Qualifications

• Incoming junior pursuing BA/BS in Accounting, Business, Finance or Information Systems.
• Coursework in accounting, data analytics, economics, computer programming or related financial curriculum.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Learn fundamentals of auditing and business operations through training and SOX/compliance audits.
• Perform audit procedures: identify issues, review evidence, document processes.
• Prepare working papers, conduct interviews, review documents, and write summary memos.
• Identify issues and recommendations using independent judgment.
• Communicate results via reports and presentations to management.
