Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Audit Intern to assist with SOX and other audit assignments across accounting, finance, operations, and IT. The internship is remote and part-time (20 hours per week), offering flexibility around class schedules.

You will learn auditing fundamentals, perform procedures, prepare working papers, and contribute to memos and reports while developing communication with management.

Qualifications

• Incoming Junior pursuing a BA/BS in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Information Systems.
• Coursework in accounting, data analytics, economics, or programming.

Responsibilities

• Learn fundamentals of auditing and business operations through training and participation in SOX/compliance audits.
• Perform audit procedures: identify issues, review evidence, document auditee processes.
• Prepare working papers, conduct interviews, review documents, and summarize memos.
• Identify and document issues and recommendations with independent judgment.
• Communicate results of projects via reports and management presentations.
