YO AI Labs is seeking an Audio Expert for remote, flexible hours to support transcription and polyphonic analysis tasks. The role centers on building accurate musical notation from recordings, separating SATB parts, and generating MusicXML using Python-based tools.

Qualifications

• Transcribe polyphonic music into accurate notation.
• Identify SATB vocal lines and apply correct notation.
• Produce and validate MusicXML files and python-driven workflows.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe polyphonic recordings into accurate musical notation.
• Separate and identify SATB vocal lines.
• Identify pitches, rhythms, durations, rests, and re-articulations.
• Apply accurate key signatures, accidentals and enharmonic spelling.
• Generate and manipulate MusicXML files.
• Use Python and audio-analysis tools to support transcription workflows.
• Validate transcriptions through musical and technical review.
