Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking an Audio Expert to support a music transcription and polyphonic analysis project. This contractor role is fully remote and offers flexible scheduling around 15 hours per week.

You will transcribe polyphonic recordings, separate SATB lines, and generate MusicXML using Python and common audio-analysis tools. Strong ear training and theories essential; familiarity with librosa, music21, MuseScore is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe polyphonic recordings into accurate musical notation.
• Separate and identify SATB vocal lines.
• Identify pitches, rhythms, durations, rests, and re-articulations.
• Apply accurate key signatures, accidentals, and enharmonic spelling.
• Generate and manipulate MusicXML files.
• Use Python and audio-analysis tools to support transcription workflows.
• Validate transcriptions through musical and technical review.
