Qualifications

• 8+ years of executive-level fundraising experience in a mid-size to large nonprofit organization.
• Knowledge of donor databases and donor tracking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with Mail Merge.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to progressive causes and donor-centered fundraising.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develops and oversees national and state fundraising strategies and campaigns to increase donor base, grants and partnerships.
• Creates and manages a major gifts system, cultivating relationships with donors, foundations and funds.
• Oversee institutional giving program and timely grant submissions of high quality proposals.
• Collaborate with communications to craft fundraising messaging and materials across platforms.
• Ensure timely reporting to Foundations/Funds/Donors, budgets and impact reports.
• Oversee hiring and supervision of development staff.
• Provide fundraising and grant-writing training to partners and community organizations.
