Job summary

Global Impact Group LLC is seeking Assyrian (Neo-Aramaic) Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to support our USCIS contract. The role requires real-time interpretation of Assyrian and English in interviews, hearings, and official proceedings, with strict adherence to ethics and confidentiality.

Remote work is available on USCIS-approved platforms. Candidates should have 2+ years of professional interpreting experience, native or near-native fluency in Assyrian and English, and be a U.S.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Assyrian (Neo-Aramaic) and English.
• Minimum 2 years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, asylum, legal, government preferred).
• Familiarity with interpreter ethics, confidentiality and cultural awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time Assyrian English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and official proceedings.
• Deliver services with accuracy, neutrality, and professionalism in legal and immigration contexts.
• Adhere to USCIS/DHS interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and compliance standards.
• Manage both scheduled assignments and urgent/surge requests.
• Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance reviews.
