Job summary

The US Composting Council is seeking an Association Data Manager to join our team. You will manage and analyze data to support membership management, event planning, marketing campaigns, and strategic decision-making in a mission-driven nonprofit environment.

You will build and maintain a transformative database, generate reports and dashboards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions while ensuring data integrity and privacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in data management, IT, or related field.
• 3–5 years of data management, BI, or AMS experience preferred.
• Experience translating business needs into technical requirements for vendors.

Responsibilities

• Drive development of a flagship data platform capturing industry metrics and lead data capture projects.
• Explore opportunities to enhance data capabilities through automation and new tech.
• Manage CID development and liaison between staff and developers for prioritization and delivery.
• Generate reports and dashboards to track membership trends, engagement, and KPIs.
• Support event planning by managing registrations and post-event reporting.
• Collaborate with teams to segment data and analyze campaign performance.
• Conduct regular data audits, ensure data integrity, and uphold data protection practices.
• Provide training on data management, reporting tools, and cybersecurity best practices.
