Allied Public Risk - Alternative Markets (a subsidiary of K2 Insurance Services) is seeking a full-time remote Associate Underwriter to support underwriters and EVP in the lifecycle of underwriting for public entities.

The role involves reviewing submissions, analyzing data, preparing rating and loss analyses, issuing policy documents, and maintaining accurate files while communicating with producers and internal partners. Salary ranges from $75,000 to $95,000 annually.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, risk management, insurance, or related field.
• Five years of relevant insurance experience, preferably supporting public-entity underwriting, rating, policy issuance, or related operations.

Mansioni

• Review underwriting submissions for completeness and accuracy and summarize exposure and risk information.
• Analyze underwriting data to support risk selection and pricing decisions.
• Conduct public-record research to identify risk characteristics and issues that affect risk acceptability.
• Prepare and issue accurate renewal letters and binders in accordance with terms and service standards.
