Everest Insurance seeks an Underwriter, Public Entity to manage a nationwide Public Entity portfolio, delivering underwriting strategies aligned with risk appetite and business goals. You will partner with brokers and internal teams to provide innovative solutions and exceptional service to public sector clients.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in insurance, strong negotiation, collaboration skills, and the ability to travel and work across the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years in the insurance industry; ideally 1+ year in Public Entity.
• Demonstrated ability to generate profitable new business and underwriting profit.
• Strong negotiation skills and collaborative, data-driven decision making.

Responsabilités

• Triage and review submissions; provide terms and conditions.
• Prepare proposals based on market conditions and laws.
• Execute strategy to grow Public Entity portfolio while managing risk and profitability.
• Organize meetings with brokers and clients to build rapport and demonstrate Everest Insurance value.
• Coordinate with internal specialists to gain insights for underwriting decisions.
