The successful candidate will work with experienced teams, meet underwriting guidelines, and develop carrier relationships, with 0–20% travel and a competitive compensation package including bonus, benefits, and 401(k).

Responsibilities

• Oversee production, underwriting, and profitability of the book of business including new business and renewals.
• Review assigned submissions to verify risk qualification, required documentation, and pricing.
• Analyze loss runs and calculate loss ratios for underwriting and quoting.
• Prepare referrals outside authority and route for review or submission.
• Aim to achieve new business hit ratio and renewal retention goals.
• Assist in technical training to new underwriters on guidelines and file documentation.
• Coordinate with UW Support to issue error-free policies and endorsements.
• Participate in new business development per the program plan.
• Maintain relationships with production sources and carriers to foster client retention.
