Job summary

Oscar Health seeks a Senior Director of Strategic Finance & Enterprise Planning to lead the annual operating plan, build business cases, and guide capital allocation with senior leaders. You will report to the VP of FP&A and drive cross-functional collaboration across Finance, Strategy and business units.

The role requires extensive FP&A experience, strong modeling skills and the ability to influence executives.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in finance, FP&A, corporate strategy, investment banking, or related strategic finance role.
• Experience leading or supporting annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, or capital allocation processes.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and business case development skills.
• Influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills, turning analysis into executive-level recommendations.
• High ownership with ability to balance strategic thinking and execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead key components of the annual operating plan cycle with Finance, Strategy and business leaders.
• Partner with leaders to evaluate strategic investment opportunities and allocate capital to priority initiatives.
• Build financial models, business cases and decision frameworks for ROI and value creation.
• Develop clear reporting and insights on plan performance, investment progress, risks and opportunities for senior leadership.
• Synthesize complex inputs into concise recommendations for executive discussions.
• Identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy, resource allocation and investment discipline.
