Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of legal experience preferred, but recent graduates who passed the IL State Bar Exam will be considered.
• JD from an accredited law school and license to practice in IL.

Responsibilities

• Analyze legal and factual issues and develop defense strategies with direction.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and briefs with supervision.
• Handle litigation tasks and occasional case handling.
• Provide timely legal advice and information to clients.
• Communicate with court, witnesses, opposing counsel and co-counsel.
• Prepare witnesses for trials, hearings, arbitrations and ADRs as directed.
• Attend CLE seminars as needed.
