Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and California bar admission.
• Extensive trial and litigation experience in Northern California.
• Strong legal research and writing abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Comfortable working in a matrixed environment with Claims Partners.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex and high exposure litigation.
• Analyze issues, conduct legal research, develop defense strategies.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions and briefs with minimal supervision.
• Provide timely legal advice to clients and Claims customers in a tech-driven environment.
• Communicate with court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel.
• Ensure prompt, efficient disposition of assigned cases.
• Prepare and present witnesses and evidence at trials and hearings.
• Research, draft, file and argue motions on behalf of clients.
• Provide damage and liability opinions to clients and Claims customers.
