Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of legal experience preferred or recent graduates who have passed the Illinois State Bar Exam.
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and license to practice in Illinois.
Familiarity with the tripartite relationship is a plus.
Commitment to providing a high level of customer service.
Positive minded and collaborative team-player attitude.
Excellent legal research and writing skills.

Responsibilities

Analyze legal and factual issues, conduct extensive legal research, develop and present defense strategies.
Prepare pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions and briefs with supervision.
Provide timely legal advice and communicate with clients.
Communicate with the court, witnesses, opposing counsel and co-counsel.
Independently prepare and present witnesses at trials, hearings, arbitrations, and ADRs.
Attend CLE seminars as needed.
