Job summary

CyberMaxx is seeking an Associate Security Engineer to join the Security Control Management team. The role focuses on EDR platform operations across multiple customer environments, with an emphasis on configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting endpoint security platforms in a fully remote setting.

The position requires coordination with SOC, detection engineering, and professional services, using PowerShell or Python for automation, and delivering clear technical documentation and status

Qualifications

• 1+ years in endpoint security or related technical role.
• Experience with at least one EDR platform (CrowdStrike/SentinelOne/Defender).
• Strong troubleshooting and change-control discipline.
• Ability to communicate with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer and tune EDR platforms across environments.
• Execute platform changes and policy transitions with change controls.
• Monitor platform health and investigate discrepancies.
• Collaborate with SOC, engineering, and professional services.
• Develop automation scripts and dashboards.
