Job summary

CyberMaxx is seeking an Associate Security Engineer to join the Security Control Management team with a focus on EDR platform operations. You will configure, maintain, and troubleshoot endpoint security across multi-tenant customer environments in a fully remote role.

You will collaborate with SOC, detection engineering, and customer-facing teams while following established change controls and documenting actions. Prior platform experience and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in endpoint security, EDR operations, security engineering, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with CrowdStrike Falcon, SentinelOne, or Defender for Endpoint.
• Windows endpoint troubleshooting; macOS/Linux familiarity is a plus.
• Knowledge of EDR concepts, agent deployment, detection triage, and basic response actions.
• Clear written and verbal communication for internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• EDR platform operations across customer environments with configuration, policy maintenance, and health checks.
• Execute changes using change controls; document actions and escalate risks.
• Investigate endpoint security issues and coordinate remediation.
• Develop automation, dashboards, and health metrics for the service.
• Collaborate with SOC, engineering, and professional services.
