Job summary

CyberMaxx is seeking an Associate Security Engineer to join the Security Control Management team, focusing on Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platform operations. You will configure, maintain, and troubleshoot endpoint security platforms in multi-tenant environments, working with CrowStrike Falcon, SentinelOne, and Defender for Endpoint.

You will collaborate with SOC, engineering, and customer-facing teams to ensure high-quality security operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in endpoint security, EDR operations, or a closely related technical role.
• Hands-on experience administering or supporting at least one of CrowdStrike Falcon, SentinelOne Singularity, or Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
• Practical experience troubleshooting Windows endpoints.
• Ability to use PowerShell, Python, or vendor APIs for troubleshooting and repeatable operational tasks.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for internal teams and customer stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Administer CyberMaxx-managed EDR platforms across customer environments, including routine configuration and health checks.
• Execute approved platform changes including agent upgrades, policy transitions, and recovery activities.
• Monitor platform health and investigate discrepancies with remediation.
• Support agent deployment, console configuration, and platform migrations under senior guidance.
• Develop automation scripts and dashboards to provide visibility into agent coverage and platform status.
