Farmer Mac is seeking an Associate - Portfolio Management to support a portfolio of renewable energy project finance loans. This role interacts with underwriting, credit, capital markets, and operations to prepare memos, perform due diligence, and manage complex cash flow models.

You will help with loan modifications, refinancings, and reporting, contributing to growth in the Infrastructure Finance team while aligning with Farmer Mac’s strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in finance, commercial banking, renewable energy, or related fields.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with internal/external stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Support Infrastructure Finance loan performances and collaborate with key internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and manage loan modification/consents/amendment requests and related reviews.
• Assist in due diligence, credit memos, and portfolio reporting, including trends and statistics.
• Represent Farmer Mac at industry events and support closing activities.
