Job summary

Farmer Mac is seeking an experienced Associate - Portfolio Management to support its renewable energy infrastructure portfolio and to contribute to the Infrastructure Finance team. The role covers loan modifications, risk reviews, due diligence, cash-flow modeling, and coordination with underwriting, capital markets, and loan operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, engineering or related field.
• Five or more (5+) years of experience in finance, commercial banking, renewable energy, or other energy-related fields.

Responsibilities

• Support Infrastructure Finance loan performances and collaborate with key internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Portfolio Strategy & Analytics and Credit to assess portfolio risk and strategy.
• Prepare loan modification/consents/waivers/amendments, and oversee related reviews.
• Gather project information for due diligence and assist credit underwriters as needed.
• Assist in creating management reports with quarterly portfolio trends and statistics.
• Support loan acquisitions, refinancing, and closing activities for renewable energy projects.
• Contribute to policy development and cross-functional process improvements.
