Job summary

EDF Renewable Energy, Inc. is seeking an Associate Asset Manager to oversee report compilation and monitor the operational and financial performance of renewable assets in the region.

You will manage, maintain, and optimize various power plants and navigate PPA and Tax Equity structures while upholding safety policies. You will interact with the Operations Control Center and cross-functional teams to support budgets, cash flow, and project distributions, with the aim of maximizing asset value

Qualifications

• Four-year degree and a minimum of 1-3 years of applicable working experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Understanding of sustainability and renewable energy resources.
• Ability to read and understand contracts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Financial analysis and support: GAAP/IFRS awareness; assist in annual budgets; monitor cash flow and flag negative trends.
• Performance monitoring support: analyze project performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Contract & regulatory support: know contracts/permits and assist compliance tasks.
• Operational awareness: understand availability calculations and maintenance needs; liaison with engineering and operations teams.
• Stakeholder management: collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize performance.
