Job summary

Maximus is seeking an Associate Software Engineer - Automation Tester to support systems testing for web/mobile apps. You will work under senior QA engineers, perform manual and automated testing, and help with test automation to promote reusable code and quality.

The role is remote and requires up to 3 years of related experience in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include test planning, executing tests, logging defects, preparing test data, and assisting with UAT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 0–3 years of experience.
• Experience writing and executing test cases for web/mobile apps.
• Exposure to test automation concepts and Selenium preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in test planning and assist with test case creation and execution (manual and automated).
• Log, track, and retest defects through the full lifecycle.
• Assist in validating test data for functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Support automation script development and maintenance under supervision.
• Provide regular testing status updates to the Test Lead or Project Manager.
• Maintain test documentation including test cases and results.
• Assist during User Acceptance Testing and issue validation.
