Job summary

Oscar Health seeks an Associate Manager, CG&A to lead and develop a team focused on member and provider escalations. You will drive operational excellence, resolve complex cases, and partner with upstream and downstream teams to tackle root business challenges.

You will report to the Associate Director, Member & Provider Escalations and work in a remote setup with potential future hybrid options near your metro area. Compensation includes benefits and annual bonuses.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading and developing a team in a production or contact center.
• 2+ years coordinating across locations and multiple disciplines.
• 2+ years working in a diverse, collaborative environment.
• 2+ years implementing operational excellence initiatives.
• 2+ years using data to drive decisions and continuous improvement.
• 2+ years advanced Google Suite or Microsoft Office capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Mentor team members using structured frameworks to build future leaders and foster a positive culture.
• Manage daily team operations, performance measurement, and cross-functional communications with indirect budget oversight.
• Oversee grievance and appeals workflows; be the escalation point for complex cases and address root causes to reduce volume.
• Handle high-visibility cases from intake to resolution; collaborate with executive leadership to mitigate risk.
• Identify operational trends and knowledge gaps; apply Lean methods to drive process improvements.
• Establish and enforce standard escalation procedures to ensure compliance and reduce customer friction.
• Partner with organizational leaders to translate insights into strategies that boost efficiency and customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Take on other duties as assigned.
