Job summary

Public Partnerships LLC is seeking an Associate General Counsel to serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on employment matters, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, risk management, and privacy programs.

The role will oversee contracts, procurement, governance, and data security initiatives, manage external counsel, and partner with cross-functional teams to implement legal technology and process improvements in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree and active license to practice law.
• Minimum 10 years of transactional, corporate and compliance experience.
• In-house and/or large firm experience preferred; Medicaid experience a plus.
• Excellent writing, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal guidance on employment matters, regulatory compliance, governance, risk management, and operations.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage client, vendor, licensing, data transfer, and other agreements.
• Oversee procurement compliance, contract management, and outside counsel relationships.
• Lead compliance and privacy programs, data security, audits, and regulatory initiatives.
