Job summary

Manifest OS is seeking an Associate General Counsel who can wear multiple hats across legal ethics, privacy, AI regulation, commercial contracts, immigration and other business needs. You will shape scalable systems, own compliance programs, and partner with founders and cross-functional leaders to protect the company while enabling growth.

You will draft contracts, review vendor agreements, and support immigration matters.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years practicing law in-house or at a firm with GC/AGC exposure
• Experience in legal ethics, employment law, commercial and SAAS contracts
• Hands-on experience navigating visa petitions, sponsorships, and compliance audits, hiring global talent
• Understanding of AI and privacy law (GDPR, CCPA, CPRA)

Responsibilities

• Lead privacy and AI compliance frameworks to enable fast, low-risk product delivery
• Review vendor contracts and advise on partnerships, customer agreements, and potential M&A or fundraising
• Build scalable compliance programs and internal workflows; own vendor relationships
• Draft contracts, file visa petitions, and support immigration matters as needed
• Experiment with AI tools to automate tasks and improve contract review and knowledge bases
