Job summary

Merck is seeking an Associate Director for Urology-Oncology Key Accounts to serve as the primary contact for large community practices in the West geography. You will lead cross-functional teams, influence without authority, and drive patient outcomes by aligning resources and strategies with account objectives.

The role requires strong healthcare business acumen, relationships with senior executives, and readiness to travel ~50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 4+ years of work experience in sales/marketing/healthcare fields
• Minimum 2 years of healthcare or life sciences experience in sales, account management, or managed care
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Ability to build relationships with senior healthcare executives and key opinion leaders
• Demonstrated financial acumen to communicate value and negotiate if needed
• Strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem and cross-functional collaboration
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time
• Local market knowledge and oncology/hematology account experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and influence across account teams to maximize portfolio utilization
• Develop and execute longitudinal account plans aligned with brand strategy
