Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Contract Management to lead a team of Contract Managers responsible for negotiating, executing, and governing supplier agreements that support Humana's enterprise objectives.

This role partners with Legal, Compliance, Privacy, and Risk teams to ensure contracts mitigate risk while maximizing business value. The Associate Director will drive governance, standardize processes, and leverage technology to improve contract cycle times and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in contract management, procurement, strategic sourcing, legal operations, supplier management, or related disciplines.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience, with demonstrated success leading diverse teams and effectively navigating complex interpersonal dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evolve the Contract Management function within Enterprise Procurement & Supplier Management.
• Develop and execute strategic initiatives that improve contract cycle times, stakeholder satisfaction, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Foster a high-performance culture and establish career pathways for team members.
• Provide oversight of complex supplier agreements from intake through execution and post-signature governance; guide risk and compliance issues.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, align contract strategies with enterprise objectives and roadmaps.
• Establish governance frameworks and monitoring processes for contractual obligations and supplier commitments.
