Job summary

IQVIA's Simpson Healthcare, an IQVIA Company, seeks an Associate Director, Client Services, to manage client relationships and lead account teams in Medical & Scientific Communications. You will ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and drive strategic growth for assigned clients.

The role requires 8+ years in medical communications or related fields, a Bachelor's degree, strong communication skills, people leadership, and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in medical communications, healthcare marketing, or scientific agency.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with emphasis in Marketing, Business, or Science.
• Strong communicator both in written and verbal forms with a proven ability to effectively establish and nurture client, internal, and staff relationships.
• Previous experience with people management is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to leverage internal and external relationships to the benefit of the project, client, and Summit Global Health.
• Must be efficient and skilled at using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, etc.). Experience with Basecamp or similar project management systems is preferred.
• Extensive skills with web-conferencing tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams and WebEx.
• An efficient and persuasive speaker and writer who can communicate effectively to a wide range of audiences.
• Great team player with a strong drive and willingness to take initiative.
• Curiosity and aptitude for continuous thinking, learning and collaboration.
• Ability to travel to meet with stakeholders as necessary (up to 25% of time).

Responsibilities

• Establish meaningful, professional relationships with client stakeholders and understand their goals.
• Ensure Simpson’s brand is represented in client interactions and deliverables.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for additional services.
• Lead client meetings, status calls, workshops, and other engagements.
• Oversee project delivery on time, on budget, and to scope.
• Mentor and develop account team members and drive growth.
• Coordinate with leadership on pitches, presentations, and metrics.
